Meditation Teachings

The key to learning meditation is PRACTICE, PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE.

In this style of meditation (mindfulness and embodiment are my favourite styles of sitting with oneself), I liken the ‘unconscious’ part of the mind to a puppy on a lead, a puppy who wants to go and sniff out every thought & get lost in those thoughts. In this practice I teach you to continually & gently lead the mind (puppy) back to the body, with no judgment. Slowly training your mind to be controlled by you, so you can draw on this through times of ‘stress or anxiety’.

The sense of focusing within is the embodiment (bringing awareness inside the body) of one’s ever-changing sensory/energetic/emotional landscape. The felt sense moves our focus from actions and things happening outside us, externally, into the world within, our internal experience (utilising our ‘senses’).

It is a powerful style of meditation, to help you on your journey of self discovery and evolving into a lighter and more wholesome human being, mindfulness is the basis and grounding before learning this style, but just sitting with oneself daily for as little as 15 minutes is enough to make some wonderful changes to your ‘world’.

If you wish to start by just following the below 5 minute video, then 8, 12, 15 minutes to build up your own practice, sticking with whichever time suits you to start with for 1 week or 1 month. It is YOUR journey. If you need extra support I do offer ‘Awareness’ Mentoring as a 5 week journey to support you, link below if you are intrigued to know what this is, or if your soul is calling out for this kind of guidance!
